Day 1 :
After-breakfast, we pick
you up from your hotel to
initiate the excusión to Huaca
Pucllana , ancestral ceremonial
place edified in the IVth
century a.C, and dedicated to
the local divinities.
Bird's-eye view of Huallamarca,
that shows the typical pyramidal
building that characterized the
sacred pre-Hispanic
constructions of the coast of
the Peru. They both find inside
the residential districts of
Miraflores and San Isidro.
Next we headed toward the south
of Lima ( 45 minutes by car )o
visit Pachacamac's archeological
citadel. God Pachacamac's
sanctuary, the creator of the
universe, divinity adored by the
ancient andean towns.
Pachacmac is located at the
valley of Lurín and with pacific
ocean sight. This is a center of
pilgrimage from 700 b.c. for the
adoration to Sun God. It is done
with bricks its composition
includes an oracle, set of
temples, and catacombs. It was
one of the main ceremonial
centers of the Pre-Inca period.
The pilgrims were arriving for
thousands to present their
offerings and to consult
Pachacamac's oracle, who watched
the past, the future and destiny.
There is a museum in the place
that exhibits the god
Pachacamac's idol, which could
not be seen by the laymen, his
vision was reserved only for the
utmost priests, who were
interpreters of the divine
oracle. The whole place is
considered sacred and the mystic
axle of the world.
At last, we returned to Lima,
and on the way we will visit the
traditional and bohemian
district of Barranco, where you
cross the famous Bridge Of
Sighs. We continues by the
beaches of the Green Coast and
the Jump of the Friar; The
ecological reserve of the Swamps
of Villa and spectacular sights
of the Pacific Ocean going over
the Pan American highway, in The
Southern way. I return the
hotel.
