Day 1 :                                         Arequipa - Base Camp
We left Arequipa at 8:30 am. and approximately three hours later ( 5000MSNM ) we begin the climbing for two continuous hours catching up with the campsite ( 5300MSNM ). There we establish the base camp for our acclimatation to the altitude.
The temperature to this level oscillates between +5 C and - 15 C

Day 2 :                                       Campsite Base - Arequipa
We began the climb to the summit around at 2:30am, after a coca tea Cup . An hour later we get the first pass, we cross the north face of the Angel peak , from here Arequipa's city can be seen. Then we increase toward the south face of Fatima peak; next we cross another short snow extension, and we do the final climb to Chachani's summit. The climb takes between 5 and 6 hours, and we return to the base camp for 3 hours approximately. We pick up the equipment that we left and walk down to where transportation awaits for us. We got to Arequipa about 3 pm.
